Organic Apple Harvest — Year Three
Hundreds of hand-picked apples and the orchard’s best harvest yet.
The fruit trees have really grown. Apples picked by hand over two days in August were carefully placed into crates, ready to become pressed organic apple juice for Halloween.
Several varieties of apple, pear and plum trees grow together in the orchard. That diversity helps slow the spread of disease without spraying and creates a haven for insects and wildlife.
